DMY Berlin is an international design network for contemporary product design. For the 8th time they will bring both young & upcoming and renowned designers, inviting you to explore the latest developments in the fields of contemporary design.
A wide program of symposia, design talks and workshops that reflect current topics and reveal future trends will accompany the exhibition. This year will introduce the Makers Lab space. This space will be utilized to explore the possibilities of Open Design and collaborative action. It will encourage visitors to learn, play and build upon each other’s contributions by providing a landscape for ongoing collaborative discussions, idea sharing, development processes and giving them a forum for the final results. The event is enabled by Jay Cousins (Open Design City), Gabriel Shalom (KS12), Luis Berrios-Negron, Michelle Thorne (Creative Commons), WAAG Society and Pedro Pineda (We Creative People) and ultimately created in collaboration with you.
